Island-wide Bulletin
June 19, 2002

Since August 2001 several people, within and without Guam Adventist Academy and Guam-Micronesia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists, have been actively involved in the acquisition and preparation of the Chamorro Bible. The new edition, which was originally published in 1908 and contains Y Salmo Sija, San Mateo, San Lucas, San Juan, and Y Checho Y Apostoles Sija, is now online at http://ChamorroBible.org. It's also noteworthy that this is the first time that the Chamorro Bible contains the words of Jesus in red letters (a Red-letter edition) and has been published on the Internet.

On behalf of the Guam-Micronesia Mission of Seventh-day Adventist we encourage all, locally and internationally, to visit, read, download, and study the bible at http://ChamorroBible.org

Pastor Remenster H. Jano, Secretary, Guam-Micronesia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists, gmm7@kuentos.guam.net

Note: This bulletin was the first Guam-Micronesia Mission of Seventh-day Adventists press release announcing the Chamorro Bible project. It was distributed in Guam and in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
