In these remarkable January 16th, 2004 sequential images from Southwest Asia the United States Air Force (USAF) B-1B Lancer bomber was photographed creating a Prandtl-Glauert condensation cloud. According to the photographer, Staff Sgt. Shelley R. Gill, the B-1B Lancer reached Mach 0.9 in the high speed pass.
