Manguaguan na Palabran Si Yuus – God's Precious Words
Chamorro  ·  English

January 3, 2005

Then said He unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes
shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations,
with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of
man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,
and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” “As for God, His way
is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.”

And, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Luke 21:10-11,25-28; Psalm 24:1;
Psalm 18:30; Matthew 28:20, KJV.

The Great Earthquake and Catastrophic Tsunami of 2004, Part 1: "I Am With You Alway, Even Unto the End of the World."

Magnitude 9.1 Sumatra-Andaman Islands Great Earthquake Off the West Coast of Northern Sumatra, Indonesia on
Sunday, December 26, 2004 at 00:58:53 UTC

Over 140,000 men, women, and children in 12 countries on 2 continents were directly killed by the sudden Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. And tragically, every day the casualty count increases. Thousands are missing, including citizens of countries not directly hit by the earthquake or tsunami. The grief and heartache are almost unbearable. There are unprecedented global and noble relief activities by nations and their citizens in a heroic attempt to prevent further deaths, and to relieve the suffering of millions of displaced people with the basic necessities of life: clean water, nutritious food (see also http://ChamorroBible.org/gpw/gpw-20050118.htm), clothes, medical care, a clean and healthy place to live.

Directly Hit:
Continents: East Africa, South and Southeast Asia
Countries: Bangladesh, Burma (Myanmar), India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Seychelles, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand
